The new Expanded First Edition of Case Master has arrived, and it is very satisfying to hold the final book after months of work. Our popular volume of practice cases now has a special “Extras” section with additional resources.
The concept for this edition came when Valentin Nugmanov, Doug Clouse, and I—the creators of Case Master—gathered in Munich this past spring. It was the first time for Doug and I to meet Valentin in person! Amazingly, for the previous five years, our collaboration had been entirely online and remote. What a special time we had working together on the Case Master Series and enjoying the sights and tastes of Bavaria.
One of our first activities was take professional photographs in the very capable hands of Viktor Jordan at Economy Business Fotografie. We then we worked with Doug Clouse of The Graphics Office on a number of important design enhancements to Case Master, Framework, and Business Mental Math (i.e., Case Master Series), including adding our new photographs.
In Munich we also met our old friend Christoph Lindemann, who always had the perfect ideas for where to eat and relax after work. Good beer, delicious food, fun clubs, and historic tours—in between long discussions about the content and design of Case Master Series we felt very spoiled!
