In a new post on their website, The Graphics Office tells the story of designing a museum exhibition―with a catalog!―during a pandemic and on a budget.
Access to the exhibition space was limited, and there wasn’t the budget to produce a large, hardcover, high-end museum catalog (the exorbitant costs of which are rarely recovered in sales anyway). However, there was no limit on the quality of the design and clarity of communication, and with print-on-demand production quality improving every year, the solution was to offer the catalog through Counselor Books on Amazon.
The result is a beautiful record of this exhibit and fifty years of work at Peters Valley School of Craft.
